My part of another trade with ~Chicary. This is an illustration of her story "It must be born from fire" ([link], which displays an important and interesting part in the deep bond between Yuugi and Yami. To represent the story, I chose to feature the duel between possessed!Jou and Yuugi, when this latter chooses himself to duel, to his double's greater dismay. The lower part shows the scene in wich ghost Atem saves Sugoroku's life in the tombs.

The event in which Yugi willingly switched places with Atem to face Jounouchi himself was probably a big shift in the two's relationship, since Yugi in no longer completely dependent on Atem. It also strengthened Yugi and Jounouchi's friendship to another degree.
